Today I looked at the calendar and noticed that it is the last day of January! And February might just sneak out being the shortest month, so how have you been keeping up with your goals?
I am making some progress and I am excited about things. And I think that when we are excited we become more productive and we enjoy the process of doing things.
Last week I attended a meet up group dinner. You know I have been a member of this group for two years but I only attended once before. But this year I've committed to attend more often to learn and grow more. Our group meets up at least once a month for dinner, movies, outdoor/indoor activities and any other kind of activities the group decided to do. The aim of this meet up group is to meet new friends and like minded people for support and networking. Mostly members are newcomers to Canada but there are some members who are originally from here and that make this group really diverse. It is a great way to meet people from all over the world, learn different cultures and learn English language together. There are many upcoming occasions and activities lined up and I'm very excited to participate.

NEW YEAR, NEW START
Happy 2010!
Another year is here and we are facing new challenges and opportunities. In the past I have had many resolutions for the New Year but didn’t come to realize them because they proved to be just that New Year’s resolutions. This year instead of resolutions I decided to write down my goals. I clearly defined my goals and made sure they are compelling and significant. I won’t let them just slip away like what happened in the past. I decided to focus only on one task at the moment. This way I won’t get lost or overwhelmed by them. On a weekly basis I would write down what I did to help me accomplish my goals. This way I would know how far or close I am to my goal.
This year I am making a difference!
